Astrological
Forecast
Whenever I have a decision that I don't know how
to make, I get an astrological forecast. Don't get me
wrong, I do not believe in astrological charts. In
general, zodiac sign astrology strikes me as nonsense. I
don't see how anyone can be able to predict the future
based on some silly imaginary creatures living in the
sky. It bothers me that there are people out there who
even believe in astrology anymore.
Hearing all of this, you might wonder why I ever
use astrological forecasts. After all, if I don't believe
in it, why should I even look at it? Isn't it just a
waste of time? Well, yes and no. On the one hand, an
astrological forecast can't be taken literally. Whether
it is right or whether it is wrong is simply a matter of
coincidence. If you read your daily horoscope forecast
and instantly decide to follow it just because it is an
astrology forecast, you are quite foolhardy.
The reason that I read an astrological forecast
is actually rather unusual. You see, they give me
something to react to. An astrological forecast is
usually very broadly written. It will tell you stuff
about your future, but it will speak in such broad terms
that you can interpret them in any way that you
want to. Sometimes, an astrological forecast will seem
dead wrong, but more often it will seem to have something
to it. Reading your astrological star sign gives you a
chance to react to it. You see, the astrological reading
is not the important part. Your reaction is.
When I get my astrological forecast, I carefully
think about my own reactions to it. It is a way to
reflect on what is going on in my life at the time. By
thinking about what I agree with and what I don't in the
psychic reading, I am able to get to the heart of my own
feelings on the matter. Sometimes, it is hard to think
clearly and directly about something going on in my own
life. Only by reacting to someone else's opinion can I
figure out where I am at at the moment. In this, for me,
lies the virtue of the astrological forecast.
Whether I'm looking for advice on love and relationships,
on business ventures, or on any other personal matter, I
can always count on it to be a good starting
place.
